Our Team
Amelie von Wedel – Partner and Co-Founder
Amelie brings more than 20 years of international experience in the art world. After working with high-profile foundations and leading art advisory firms, she founded her own agency, Wedel Art, over 15 years ago.
Throughout her career at Wedel Art and in previous roles, Amelie has built a strong track record in developing cultural strategies for corporate and private clients, curating exhibition programmes in collaboration with leading contemporary artists like Etel Adnan, Frank Bowling and Lee U Fan amongst many other, and shaping significant art collections. Her work has consistently focused on nurturing relationships with outstanding creative talent, which has naturally evolved into a desire to concentrate even more closely on this vital part of the art ecosystem.
Amelie holds a master’s degree in Art History and Economics from the Universities of Edinburgh and Berlin and is, among other institutional engagements, a member of Tate’s North American Acquisitions Committee.
Pernilla Holmes – Partner and Co-Founder
Pernilla has cultivated a deep understanding of the art world over the past 20 years. She has written extensively about art for major publications, curated numerous exhibitions and performances with both emerging and established artists such as Theaster Gates, Huguette Caland and Shara Hughes at key moments in their careers, and worked on acquisitions and collection strategies in both the private and corporate sectors.
Her work has also included devising high-level cultural programming—such as talks, debates, intimate artist salons, and travel to key art events across the globe—as well as developing broader cultural strategies and engaging in active philanthropy.
Having developed artist projects across institutional, corporate, and experimental settings, Pernilla is passionate about working holistically with artists and devising bespoke strategies across all sectors of the art world to further their careers.
Pernilla holds an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art

Helen brings over 15 years of international experience across art centers, including London, Doha, New York, and Berlin, along with a deep understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem.
She holds degrees in Art History and International Business Administration, completed in Paris and the United States. Helen began her career at Phillips de Pury, where she served as Head of the Chairman’s Office, overseeing Private Collections and Client Development, before transitioning into a specialist and writer role within the Contemporary Art Department.
She later relocated to Doha, where she held leadership positions for the Royal Family. During that time she collaborated closely with leading artists, auction houses, curators, galleries, and museums.
Helen subsequently founded W15 Art, a bespoke advisory based in Berlin, dedicated to supporting private collectors in building thoughtful, coherent collections.
Drawing on her experience across artist-facing and institution-facing roles, combined with strategic insight and operational expertise, Helen brings a holistic perspective on protecting artistic integrity, reputation, and career trajectory and provides long-term career strategy.
