To celebrate the opening of Frieze London 2022, Wedel Art and EmDash Foundation hosted a performance of Zina Saro-Wiwa’s Illicit Gin Institute Assembly. Both profound and joyful, Saro-Wiwa’s performances are carefully curated events, designed to engineer a profound sense of connection to the earth. In addition to a verbal address by Saro-Wiwa, the evening featured a silent gin tasting, delicious food, radical cocktails and an unbridled celebration of soil and soul.
